Kitchen Assistant Program

Do you love to cook? Are you interested in helping our Chef’s during the course of a class a few times a month? Cooking with Class is offering an opportunity to assist in the kitchen for those who’d like to earn credit towards attending future classes.

Kitchen Assistants arrive early and assist the Chef in setting up for a class. They help greet students and sign them in as they enter and make them comfortable while they settle in. During the class, Kitchen Assistants help the Chef conduct the class by assisting students in preparing food, plating and serving meals, pouring wine & beverages, and tidying the kitchen. After class, Kitchen Assistants help the Chef to breakdown the kitchen and clean up.

Taking place in this program is a fun and rewarding way to attend our school without cost to you. For every 3 classes you assist, you will receive credit towards taking the class of your choice up to a $75 value and subject to availability. Kitchen Assistants will be representatives of our school and therefore must be either currently enrolled in our professional program or approved by us during an informal interview. Eligible candidates will be serious minded but fun loving, task oriented but relaxed, professional but adventurous!
